The history of success of the Untertürkheim parent factory, the birthplace of Mercedes-Benz, began in September 1904. The exhibition has been developed on the occasion of the jubilee celebration. It puts the focus on the employees who with their daily work contribute to the legend of Mercedes. The exhibition features various topics including work organization and conditions of work, professional training, communication and participation, the development of social facilities and of the plant itself. The exhibition illustrates the 100 years of social history with many photos (some of them published for the first time) as well as with a large number of documents and interactive exhibits.
