On the occasion of his 75th birthday next year the Institute for Cultural Exchange is currently organizing the largest retrospective ever of Allen Jones. The exhibition entitled Allen Jones. Off the Wall will be presented in summer 2012 for the first time and will afterwards travel through Europe until 2014.
From 18 June 2011 the World Cultural Heritage Site at the Völklingen Ironworks is showing the exhibition Mel Ramos. 50 years of Pop Art. The successful retrospective of the American Pop Artist Mel Ramos was already shown in Tübingen, Munich and Vienna and is now on display until 18 September 2011.
The IKA currently curates a comprehensive show about photorealistic painting. Our travelling exhibition tour entitled Photorealism will start in spring 2013 and will travel within the following years to several venues in Europe.
